Plunge back into Elizabethan England and enter the heart and mind of a little known Elizabethan man whose life was entangled deep in the history, politics, religion and culture of the Era.  It was illegal for him to be in England, the Queen had threatened his death and spies and hunters kept watch for him, but this young Elizabethan rebel was bold in the face of threats and came back into his country undercover.  His love for freedom and justice saw him undertake a brief but dramatic mission throughout England but he was snatched by the sadistic hunter Topcliffe and found himself on the infamous Rack in the notorious Tower of London.  The government was unable to break him for his determination thwarted even the greatest of villains on their payroll.  He was 24 years old when he stood beneath a gallows and his whole life flashed before his eyes.
